Now that we have discussed the nitty gritty details of consciousness research design, application, and significance, I thought it would be fitting to address what issues exist in the field of consciousness research and what gaps are to be addressed. One of the main issues in consciousness research is that researchers, both from the philosophy and the psychology / neuroscience end, argue over what the true definition of consciousness is.
